Lighted Oyster Shell Tree
This decorative tabletop tree features layered natural oyster shells arranged in a tapered conical form. Integrated string lights on thin wire are woven throughout the arrangement to provide a soft illuminated accent suitable for coastal or holiday decor displays.
Background Note
Shellwork crafts have a long tradition in coastal regions, where shell art grew into a popular souvenir and decorative art form during the Victorian era. Decorative conical shell trees evolved as a coastal alternative to traditional holiday greens, utilizing local marine materials for hand-crafted seasonal displays.
