Background Note
The sleigh design, characterized by its gracefully curved or rolled ends, is a classic furniture style that originated with pieces like sleigh beds. This elegant form, reminiscent of a horse-drawn sleigh, gained popularity in the 19th century and has since been adapted across various furniture types, including benches. Its timeless aesthetic provides both comfort and a touch of traditional charm, making it a functional and appealing addition to a home's entryway.
